This is the first 'grown up' movie that I really really liked when I was in my early adolescence. It’s extra special because a friend of mine showed it to me. My friend passed away from a terrible illness and this movie always reminds me of those times, when life was so much simpler and my friend was alive.

This movie always reminds me of my past girlfriend that we were off and on again relationship over a few years, and she would be in a relationship and I wouldn’t and vice versa. We got together again one last time before breaking it off. Then one day, she took her own life, and it was the most painful experience I ever felt. She looked a lot like Amanda Peet in the film.
