I’m not arguing or disrespecting anyone else’s opinion at all; I just really wish I could see/understand the appeal that Raja has for so many people. That queen SLAYED consistently like no one else has on the runway, no doubt, and I have tremendous respect for that, but off the runway, I just don’t get it. He’s so beautiful as a boy, but on Fashion Photo Review, for example, she’s soooooo mannish looking to me, which is fine if that’s your thing, but that doesn’t seem to be what she’s going for. And as for comparing Raja and Sharon Needles or putting them in the same category: Sharon is so creative and funny and has this amazing larger-than-life personality, and I don’t see anything like that in Raja. I’m ready to be schooled, queens! I just haven’t heard anyone explain it yet in a way that makes sense to me.

@@jamessandy5873 she is actually funny! She is not a comedy queen, but she is pretty funny. Listen to her in her interviews or FPR... Also, she is creative. Not creative in a spooky way like Sharon, but she has a lot of inventive. That is why she won DragRace in the first place. Looks-wise, I think her make-up is always on point and if sometimes she looks a bit androgynous it's also because she likes that style. She is the queen that doesn't pad or use fake boobs, so she likes giving an androgynous vibe. Sometimes she gets a little tired on FPR because she has to make so many appearances and she has being doing that for so long that she can't always be in top shape... But overall I'd say she is funny and creative! Also, Sharon isn't always fishy either... In her younger days she wasn't fishy to me, now she is more fish, but she also got surgery done. Raja is 100% natural, including her hair (very often she doesn't even wear wigs)

Raja is an androgynous queen. And that's on purpose. His drag style is not meant to give off the illusion of being a woman. His drag style is all about being glamorous and beautiful like a top tier female fashion model, but as a boy. (I think one of his first quotes on RPDR season 3 was "beautiful things aren't just for women". Something like that.) I think Raja is hilarious. I laugh at almost everything she says on FPR and otherwise. She's got a great sense of irony and she's very silly and warm. And honestly, on FPR Raja just doesn't give a crap. She's not competing or even performing. So I think most of her outfits are just to fit a weird theme or make herself or Raven laugh. Sharon is a very, very different sort of queen. Sharon is an actor/comedian. She's a brilliant impressionist, she's got a wicked sense of humour, but she's not really glamorous like Raja.

Aquaria is on a different level. Aquaria's makeup skills shit on Violets and her stage presence does too. It's not practical to use silks and hang from the ceiling at most clubs and venues. So that's kind of an obsolete talent for a drag queen...sorry Violet. She looks cute though!
