It’s cloudy because of the coconut oil. There is a reason as to why it is suggested to use baby oil. Products react differently to resin and UV lights

Actually on her latest aqua nail video she used coconut oil again and they came out clear as glass. Something about the resin here made it cloudy.

Baby oil is too heavy. I use Pink Glosser hair oil, it works amazingly

A suggestion would be to coat the inside with clear polish after buffing to see if it gets rid of the cloudiness

Cute, cute, cute!! I think baby oil (mineral oil) has a different viscosity as compared to coconut oil. Perhaps that is why the glitter gets stuck sometimes?

I suggest the technique Lysette Gel Nails does on her aquarium nails...the aquarium is over the whole nail not just the tip and they aren't bulky on the nail!!! They always look great!!!

Those are awesome tips! Nail tech tip, to blend the tips into your natural nail and cuticle better float some builder gel from your cuticle towards the free edge. You don’t need to go the whole way but it will ensure a smooth transition as well as add some strength. Not as necessary if you’re popping them off but if you did want them to last its a great Technique.

I think it could clear up if after filling inside and cleaning with alcohol to paint inside with thin no wipe top coat the might solve it being cloudy and take visible scratches away inside imo - then fill it with glitter and oil - the tips are cool too!! Now I can try these as well!!

Hi strong resin smell ans stickiness can mean that the resin isn’t good quality or not hardened correctly. Resin is toxic uncured so please be careful with usage and letting it touch your skin!

You always do great work. IMO I think k the cloudiness is from when you filed the inside of them. Even tho you rinsed them. There was no clear-coat to make them clear again.

Hi, i dont wanna be forceful or anything but I’m asking you to do your nails with only daiso products. When i saw your channel for the first time i fellin love with doing my nails, at that time i was sort of a newbie ( i still kinda am ) but at that time I didn’t think I qualified to do press ons or anything other than painting my nails and a few months later i think I am pretty good at painting now so i want to try sticking nail tips with nail glue or those press on stickers and then paint them with regular nail polish or maybe I’ll try gel. And if you are wondering what daiso is, daiso is a store in which there are multiple girly items like makeup stationary, yarn and sewing crafts, storage items, glass dishes and many more. I also saw a nail section with some nail tips, nail polish, nail files, nail glue, press on stickers, electric nail files, nail stickers and some other stuff so if you come across a daiso please go and try some nail items. Thanks for starting my interest!

I wonder if you put some top coat inside the tank after buffing the inside with your bit and flushing with alcohol.. then use a tiny little art brush to top coat the inside, then cure, then fill as normal. I bet they would come out a lot more clear!!
