Should have put some ball valves or something there by the bottom of the tank bud...so you could work on them pipes if u have any problems when tank is full😉😉

I don’t see an emergency drain on the display tank. Did you ever add one? I’d be a little cautious

Closing the upper valve on your pump to much will cause cavitation which will leed to early pump failure

Dude...you're literally a few months ahead of me on my build. I have a used 180 that I bought that will upgrade my 90. I'm in the process of re-sealing the entire tank because why not? Like you, I have some great equipment that was part of the deal. And, like you, where I plan to put this 180 is above an unfinished room below, so I have access to add all the plumbing I need to make maintenance as easy as possible (just need to add some reinforcement framing). I thought about putting the sump in the lower level as well, but I just don't know if that would be convenient in my case. I want to be able to access the sump, refugium, etc. without having to run downstairs, lol. And how will that affect the heater? Either way...I'm interested in how your build goes and wish you much success!

Sounds awesome man! I will have to see how it will affect the heater, im sure it will be working a little harder, might have to have two on this system. Thanks!

So long of a video and still no full explanation how the system works. Why 3 pipes going in the basement, instead of just 2?! Is the pomp working constantly? Are there any valves that prevent the water from completely draining?
