Can’t find the video showing the results, it’s hard to fin your updates, even when looking through your playlists. Updating the description of these videos with a link to the follow up videos would make it much easier to follow along.

This test was inconclusive. We're working on a new test as we speak, so stand by 🙂

@@BRStv Ohh I see, thanks! And is the cycling test going to come out soon?

This reminds me of the experiment Mr Saltwater Tank did when testing grow rates with LEDs and I think his methodology was a little better. I'd love to see this kind of thing done in the future with different displays tied together to a common sump to eliminate more variables. It's a minor thing and I've been really loving these videos! They're helping me get ready to start a new tank after a long hiatus. Thank you!

When I turn my 2 pumps on, I can see the sand barely shifting on the bottom. Is that common or too high? And how to I gauge a more medium flow for softies corals 🤔

When will you guys be doing a follow up to this video with the results?

What is the best doser I can get to automatically dose 2 part? I want it to dose the calcium alkalinity and magnesium.

Keep it rolling brs. As always very informative. Will you guys be at palooza NY? Will be my first time attending. Hoping to see most if not all my KZbin peeps.

BulkReefSupplyCom I did but you guys were mobbed with people so I couldn’t personally meet. But it was cool seeing you guys in person. Had a blast until my grandson lost all of our raffle tickets smh.

can the powerhead be used as an air pump and filter ? if yes, is it effective as the real filter one ?

Call me crazy but on my 40 breeder display with a 40b sump, I'm running 3 maxed MP10W's and a ~700gph return pump on my mixed reef and never once have I had any issues with too much flow. Every coral just needs time to adjust in my experience with some obvious exceptions that is.

This is one I am really interested in seeing your test results for. I also enjoyed and practicing elevated levels of calcium, alkalinity and magnesium,corals are doing super. Thanks BRSTV!

Can we talk about the "Cone of death" with the ecotech powerheads... literally nothing can be placed in front of a Mp40 or 60 for 18 plus inches. I dont see how this is a positive.

Cool video.... but ya gotta wait until the results are in before making this. You just teased us all and nobody likes to be teased. lol

Should have known this was a teaser vid based on the time, for a second there figured "Hey I can get the answer in less than 5 minutes, hurray for short attention spans!" nope...

Shoulda done 1 with 1 powerhead, 2 with 2, 3 with 3, and 4 with 4. That would have produced more interesting results if you ask me.
@evolutionXXVII5 жыл бұрын
I agree, I'd be curious to see what it's like on the low end. Even having a tank with 1 continuous flow, no randomization, would be interesting.
@mattharrell39325 жыл бұрын
Also, different brands of power heads. I am not a fan of Ecotech. I like flow, but too much flow from a single powerhead is a negative. Better to be spread out to avoid the cone of death.
