Nitrates don't evaporate with water. Secondly water change is must to reduce nitrate levels. A huge no of reactions taking place in the water, which we barely know. So it's better to do a bit water change every month to keep your tank healthy.

U can put blue damsel for cycling ur tank even I have done that to cycle my tank . I think molly fish are not an good option. Really try blue damsel and try to add bacteria it will boost ur cycle and cut ur time in half.

Hi my name is Suve from Assam, India and I m following u from long time because I like the way u explain everything about fish keeping and Aquarius. Actually I have a few tanks in my home and I have a 6 feet mix community cichlid tank, but I need a at least 4 to 5 feet cheap light for my tank for brightening the colors of fishes. I m also sending few images of my tank. Plz suggest me as here in Assam there are few options available for aquarium lights though there are some pet store but led lights are very costly.

I am suggesting you to use Fritz aquatics fritzyme 9 . After cycling ur Aquarium. Before u add fish or after a water change use Fritzyme 9 . Best in the market

Peace be upon u all Best way To cycle marine aquarium After water added just add a piece of shrimp (sea food) let them decompose it will take time and then it creates pure ammonia then the cycle starts ..keep ammonia nitrate and nitrite test kit I will suggest get API for ammonia and nitrite and salifert for nitrate..as u need nitrate after adding fishes and no end for it.. once u see drop in ammonia and Inc in nitrate cycle is going well..once u see 0 Ammonia &0 nitrite ..do 70% freshly made saltwater mix I prefer redsea salt or aquaforest salt.. then u can add fishes one by one slowly.. Quarantine marine fishes before adding into main tank is must.. Been in marine field for 8+years & have done many tanks too.. One more thing it takes 30+days for cycle to complete don't rush in cycling avoid any chemical boosting make it simple and natural way gud for long run Thanks

The best way to cycle the tank naturally is to add some salt water from any other salt water tank which is matured.. Adding some biological media from the same tank will be beneficial too. It will speed up the cycling process nd ur tank will be ready for the fish with in 45 days max

Add some Bacteria Supplements like Seachem Stability so that the process can boost up. It's 5 months since I added my Fishes in my Reef tank and not a Single fish has died. They are pretty healthy and gets a variety of food. It is customised With automated water changes(RO water obvio). CYCLING TANK IS MUST.
