Gareth - The rose colored glasses have been slowly coming off here in San Diego California for the last few weeks. I’m currently going through the “perfect storm” and have been learning a ton about myself. I think it’s time for a move to another state, to take care of my parents. My 14yo son ran away to live with his (narcissistic & abusive) father, whom he hasn't had contact with for 7 years. Devil energy is right. My covert narc mother is also involved in this somehow, going by the emails I intercepted. It's one big mess here right now. Stepping back to allow him to learn this lesson is just horrible. I know the state he's going to come home in, because we went through it with my daughter, at the same age, 5 years ago. It was hugely damaging, but at least once they see it with their own eyes, and make up their own minds, it's basically over. So hopefully we'll be closing out this cycle soon, and we can move forward together, without that pernicious energy poisoning our lives. Huge purging and healing this week, on a personal level. I'm trying to focus on myself while my son is gone. He'll be needing extra from me when he returns.
