Something I learned about Aquarius moons by the channel Soul In Vibration (please watch her video on this placement, it's truly spectacular) is we are emotionally detached or we don't express ourselves in the way anyone expects, including ourselves. And I feel this to be true based on my experience: we're often detached because of how we were nurtured growing up. One of our parents gave us all the love and attention while the other was aloof and emotionally absent. My personal example: my mother was VERY good at giving me (a Cancer man with an Aquarius moon) emotional attention and love despite being an Aquarius herself while my father RARELY did any of that and most often gave me discipline as his quote unquote form of love. Now as an adult: I know what he was getting at. When he grew up he got some MASSIVE reality doses from an early age and he learned how to accept that pretty quickly, find the value in it, and make peace with that as he is naturally cold and calculating most of the time. Me, an emotional beast for them to handle since day 1? I did not respond well to it despite him trying not to do it as intensely as his parents did to him. From a young age, I felt more fear of him than any love for him. He was a good father, but because he never tried to actively show me any emotional support from a young age, I didn't know who he was really until I turned 18. I'm almost 21 btw. Now because of it, I want to hug every single sensitive and handsome man I meet every time I see them. It's an attractive thing for me to see another young man be sensitive or maybe even crying and I crave physical attention from people who are like that because I never got that from my father. So in summary, many of us lunar aquarians (even if it's not all of us) are like this because of one parent being emotionally present and the other rarely being so.

As an Aquarius moon Scorpio sun and Sag rising, i have to say this is pretty accurate but i wanted to add that i actually feel a lot more emotions than you’ve mentioned. Enough for me to read people without having them tell me what they’re going through which is why it’s hard for me to socialize in bigger group settings especially with people I meet for the first time. But, I do feel safe with certain people I meet if I have something in common with them as well. It’s very confusing since i do feel like the odd one out socially but I prefer it sometimes since i get highly affected by their personal struggles. Just realized you had a moon in Aquarius video and after watching it I'm definitely impressed with your accuracy again! Moon/Ascendant in Aquarius here and described me pretty well. I have 3 blank whiteboards in my room because I'll go on random thought trips and flashes of insight will pop up in my mind then disappear as fast as they appear if I don't write them down. Growing up parents always tried to tell me what to do but I would always end up rebelling and doing what I felt was right, which I never really understood until I got into Astrology. Always felt like an alien and have trouble truly connecting with people but have tons of casual friends and can vibe with pretty much anyone I want no matter what they look like... I almost feel like Aquarian energy itself is the guiding force of humanity symbolized by the "water-bearer" (water symbolizing wisdom) but to bear this wisdom you cannot be "fully" human at least in the traditional sense which is why most Aquarians usually feel and are seen as "different" because they actually are "different". Uranus itself is the only planet on a different axis then the rest of the planets so it's no coincidence that the planet symbolizing the aliens/rebels of the zodiac manifests in the exact same way... Told you I go on thought trips.. However I really resonate with what you said about feeling alien and needing intellectual pursuits. I love studying psychology and astrology. I'm highly observant but struggle making friends sometimes. I think having it in my 8th house could point to why I have such "odd" standards in long term relationships. Have you heard of the term HSP? (Highly sensitive person?) You reminded me of it with wanting to live in “separate households.” I relate that to the cancer rising and probably even that aqua moon too. I’m a Pisces Sun and Aquarius Moon and this video is really spot on!! It’s really tough having a combination like this that can be both detached and attached to people at the same time. I always feel like I’m very off putting to everyone I talk to ( some of that is probably because of my autism and the fact that I don’t have great social skills ). I’ve always had a tough time making friends especially towards really extroverted people. I usually have to find a group of people that I really relate to and hang out with them. Your point about Aquarius Moon’s having a lot of online friends is really spot on. I have a lot of online friends who are into what I’m into ( which is cartoons and animation ). Sometimes I feel while being an Aquarius moon does have its benefits, it’s also very hard to be an Aquarius moon while finding a way to fit in with everyone else who doesn’t share the same interests that you have.

As aquarius moon, i do like many friendships. But for some reason i appreciate friendships where expectations arent too high, meaning if i decide i feel like doing my own thing instead of hanging out i expect them to understand that and respect my need to do my own thing sometimes. i love my placement, Taurus\Aries cusps, Moon Aquarius, Venus in Pisces. I feel like i am perfect emotionally, grounded, and I am able to just understand people and what they need in their lives. I think us Aquarius moons are hard to understand because we don’t need to talk through our emotions to understand them. We have to work through our emotions before sharing. And typically when we share, it’s just so our loved ones can understand us better. I don’t even know how to articulate emotions when I’m currently feeling them deeply! But it’s super easy for me to share later. One weird thing being an Aquarius moon, I don’t typically get along with Aqua suns. They can be sooo preachy and faux deep… I can’t. As a Sag Sun and Aquarius Moon I need to say one thing. Every time I feel any emotions it confuses me to the point that I question it, and MUST understand it. Why? Why? Why? These are my questions. I think everything has a reason and I need to know what. It’s overwhelming sometimes and annoying and just recently started working on this. This is my favorite placement in my chart. Third house moon in aquarius. Libra stellium (sun mercury venus) 10th house sun, mercury and 11th house venus. Mars in scorpio in 12th house. Sag rising But anyways, one of my favorite things about being an aquarius moon is i feel we are the type of people to be on the outside looking in. I love it but at the same time it can feel lonely as we tend to feel like an outsider or the black sheep. And he would probably be attracted to that crackhead energy signs like Sags Geminis Libras Aquariuses Ones that are unpredictible and like to all kinds od forbidden shit and laugh later.
