How accurate! As of Tuesday, I'm out on a leave of absence from work. My toxic manager finally broke me Sunday evening. I knew I had to get out. Sunday was the last straw. I've filed a formal HR complaint and a report to EEOC, documented everything. She is already trying to find out what my witness heard of Sunday's interaction and change the script. Saying "we are family". As if! It's out of my hands now, I'm out. Now to concentrate on finding some peace of mind.

He picked himself back up and is back on track but he only just slipped last week and here we are. He went to a meeting right away. Your husband must do a COMPLETE 4Th. step inventory and "confess" (Step 5) the secret he has intended to take to his grave with him. Lack of honesty is the reason most alcoholics drink again.
