@@dominicjackson6122 ideally both lol. they cover different areas of sound and there could be some sales this holiday season. the cs is much more of a synthesizer than the cp is. if you're new to synthesis, i'm in the midst of rolling out a "how synths work" video series for beginners. part 1 is live on the channel and part 2 is coming this week. a final beginner's buying guide video will come later in the month and could help you make a more informed decision.

this game did water levels right, still the same skillful timing and "platforming" (or ig the water equivalent). didnt feel lame or irritating, just well designed. i love these stages i know this comment seems like its not addressing the cover of the song, but it is, you did a really damn good job of playing it that you brought me back to a better time. i find it really neat that you could perform all the different aspects of the song live, because i know this song has some weird sounds in it. did a damn fine job

Beautiful cover! It captures the ambience of the original quite well. The reface CP does a pretty good fender Rhodes emulation. I have a reface DX myself, i find the preset MotionPad to be great patch for a lot of specific textures that are a bit spooky or moody depending on how it is used.

yeah the CP is such a great standard mobile keyboard and the DX is so good for pads - very flexible as you mentioned. i believe that was the preset i used with some feedback and LFO tweaking. thanks for watching!

this is actually true, especially at the very opening; i didn't think those notes were rhythmically crisp enough in the end and i had done it against the bass track (which probably masked my hearing) and i probably should have done it against a click track or just rubato against the pads. but by the time i got to video editing and kind of wished i redid it, i was just ready to be done lol. thx for the honest feedback and for watching!
