To the people that don't get it: 1) I would recommend watching Time of Eve. Ask me for links, GREAT movie, chosen for NY Children's Film Fest. 2) Guy is sad because he broke up with his gf over trivial things...he hints to waitress that they could date...but she shows him the aqaurium room that basically gives him words of encouragement. He comes back in the cafe and the waitress says she can't date him bc she's a robot, and she has an obligation to protect him under the 1st Robotic Law.

@KuroiiTenshii lol, your kinda right there. this was the first film of note by the director Yasuhiro Yoshiura, who went on to create, write and direct pale cocoon and, you guessed it EVE no jikan. if you know of the director makoto shinkai then this work would be the equivalent of "she and her cat" in that it drew attention and opened up doors to larger and more complicated works as for a sequel. i believe we may see it "but thats another story" and "season 1 complete" give me a hunch at least
