I like the way she said 'hi, I'm Sophie, I play in Godspeed Empereor.' Like it's just another band.

My favorite band with my favorite pedal company. Perfect.

She is so endearingly jolly in this interview, and she smiled quite a lot when I saw GYBE live. It's hilariously uncharacteristic of the sound and imagery as the rest of the band are in deep, gloomy concentration.

I would especially love one with Dave, his guitar playing fascinates me the most. Not even sure there’s any interviews with him out there, only time I’ve ever even heard him speak was in an old live recording from 2003

I’m somewhat sure that David is the interviewer on BBF3 (according to a Reddit post), just sounds like his voice is pitched down a bit

Been using an Afterneath, Fuzzalo, Aqueduct, Pyramids, and Canyon (all in that order from start to finish): the result is an insane Boards Of Canada sounding synth-like tone when playing on the neck pickup especially. The Aqueduct is a must have! In that chain I just mentioned it brings so much life to any mix

Always wanted to ask her how it feels to be the only member of a band that is good at her instrument. For the record, GY!BE owns. (Also for the record I named my cat after Sophie Trudeau.)
