For all the rain lovers only the 2nd half of the video actually has rain in it.

One thing I love that Luke shows in his videos is how to utilize the environment around you when setting up a camp. If theres no trees around to tie a cord, then use a longer cord, why use pegs when theres a perfectly good tree root, if all else fails, find a heavy rock and tie a cord to that. Its great logical thinking if you have to adapt to your surrounding. A great camping skill

I am not a camper but I love watching these videos. I learn a lot about camping. I do have a question. I understand camping around trees does provide some protection. But if it thunderstorms with lightening , does it become a concern to have a tent close to trees? Thank you in advance to anyone who could answer my question. 👍
@jacobravenwood796811 ай бұрын
It can be the odds of getting struck by lightning or having the tree directly next to you. Get struck by lightning are very, very small. I'd be more concerned. With one of those trees getting blown over during the severe thunderstorm and landing on your tent. While you're asleep in it, the odds of that are much higher.😊
