well if i remember... kervaal kinda rushed the class's design cause they we're running out of time...you can go to his channel if you want to know the entire details to how it ended up like this. I guess they we're trying out self DoT cause that gimmick isn't common around that time and i think they we're trying to pull that off..

sentinal class was pretty much a port from the origional in adventure quest... in wich it was actually quite decent as an armor sadly aq classes in aqw don't work that well, same story with the starlord, dragonlord, guardian and defender classes there all from a bygone era

Legion Revenant is way far worst than Sentinel. Imagine farming for ~ 20 days and then it gives you a class which has the same damage output to LightCaster, slow skill cooldown, and takes forever to get.

that class is made for farming very fast and clearing room fast if you compare it to light caster the light caster is much slower to clear rooms because it is a single target, the cooldown isn't that bad it's just 5-6 seconds unlike battlemage if you think you are clearing room very slow you are probably using it wrong.
