AR Foundation Plane Detection Tutorial.

You can see dancing counter strike soldiers on the floor with the help of AR.
This tutorial will teach you the important basics you need to know to start building augmented reality experiences which will run on both iOS and Android.
We are going to learn how to implement the basic of Augmented Reality using AR foundation in Unity.
AR Foundation is Unity's AR cross-platform implementation for ARCore and ARKit and can be run on both Android and IOS.

I followed the tutorial twice , the build completed with a result of "Succeeded" . However, both indicator and the character didn't show up at all. I am not sure why and I am stuck. Please help

I had the same issue. It worked with the latest version 2021.1.3f1 but not with the 2020 LTS version

I like your tutorial, however I do every step but the package does not get sent to my phone, Unity says Build completed with a result of Succeeded in 33 seconds but I got nothing. Why is AR so random? lol! I have Unity 2019.3.1, ARFoundation 3.1.3 and ARCore 3.1.3 any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Hi, try to build it again it will solve your problem. Please make sure your phone is selected in the devices section.

@@AugmentedRealityGaming I tried to build 7 or 8 times in a row, always getting the successful message but still it didn't create the APK on my phone, I'll restart my computer and try everythingt from scratch. Thank you very much for the quick reply, I really appreciate it!

​@@AugmentedRealityGaming I could finally open it on my phone (I didn't have enough free space ... why would I need to install Android Studio to get this simple message is beyond me! :), so now the plane detection works perfectly but nothing spawns unfortunately! I really wish I could make this work ! :)

Place indicator is showing up but not the 3d object. Are you sure you don't have to include any more scripts to the scene?

Hai, I solved the problem, after i looked again on 3d import to unity. Legacy unchecked.it makes the animation didnt worked. thanks for the reply
