Seems like you totally get it. My absolute FAVORITE thing to do with AR glasses is play games or watch shows while sprawling out on the bed or the couch. Being able to play while completely relaxed, without having to hold up a Steam Deck or whatever to see the screen or crane my neck to look at a TV or monitor while lying down is the. best. thing. No more neck pain and no more hand pain. I really don't understand why most gaming/tech reviewers don't seem to see how much of a game changer AR glasses can be.

Excellent video. I've owned the Ones and now the Pros - quality hardware and quality support. Just want to be sure everybody is aware that your experience with blurry edges is not the same as everyone else. The dials work great for me (-4.50 and -4.75) and the picture is crisp, clear, and sharp corner to corner. You may need to mess around with the nose attachments to get the proper fit. Also, if you are using glasses in front of the Viture frames, you are likely pushing your face further away from the screens, which could result in fuzzy corners. For most people, the edges and image will be perfectly sharp. Cheers from Canada!

They actually work really good for playing the Steam Deck too. Nothing as good as these, but for the price, it's a pretty solid thing to try out. They also a cable that allows for charging and glasses use, I have one and it works great. The reason for the dock is really for the ability to play Switch, it tricks the Switch into going into "dock mode" so you get higher performance and benefit of the battery. They have a similar bracket for the Switch to attach to back. I think my primary reason for the dock is to use my ps5 with it. Dad life has you lose the TV at times.

Yes, with the Viture SpaceWalker App. There's productivity stuff and other expansion of iPhone/Android usage (iPhone 15 easiest) that allows monitor setups that are more akin to AR screens. For example, you can select a 3 monitor setup and "look" at the different monitors, or an ultra-wide monitor. These glasses support 3DoF visual "monitor" usage through the SpaceWalker. I wish more reviews covered these capabilities... everyone is gaming on them XD

How long is the cable for the XR glasses? I am lost about the image quality. Is the edge to edge image clarity not 100%? I mean I do not want to have blurry display even if its just around the corners of the big screen. How does ultrawide work at 1080p? Can you name at what resolution to keep it simple thanks.
@TechDweeb3 ай бұрын
Included cable is 4ft (can be extended with usbc extender). Edge clarity is not 100% (explained that near the end of the vid). It's almost perfect, but not quite. I didn't try any ultrawide resolutions but it'd be the same as doing ultrawide Steam Link streaming on a 1080p TV.
@tomoprime2173 ай бұрын
@@TechDweeb I've tried to justify the cost of getting XR glasses but it always conflicts with me owning a Quest 3 with better specs for the awesome edge to edge visuals. With XR I mean you need a dock if you plug in a controller and or if you want to also power your handheld with xr type-c connection. With the Quest 3 you can just wirelessly stream with Virtual Desktop app or use the native steam link app. Adding the accessories adds to the bulk and total price and it becomes harder to envision if it's really worth it or not. Zenny even sells cheap quest prescription lens inserts. I got a Quest for VR but I've been considering something lighter for pancake games. It's just shocking no one has moved the needle with these low res 1k dime a dozen XR glasses.

@@TechDweeb I'd like them a bit lighter, and with slightly larger displays. I've also found that when using mine out and about that I really need to wear a black shirt.
