So they nail something like this, one of the worst wrx ever made, but they can't nail other cool cars? The devs may have cooked, but they were trying to make a souffle and made spaghetti instead. I have come to take back my response. The fact you can paint the trim made this car a solid 8/10 for me.

Seeing Forza devs finally giving us multiple cars with customization parts is awesome. And the fact that we can actually paint the ugly plastic trim is great. The car looks 10 times better with the trim actually matching the color of the car.

CVT now called the SPT, Subaru performance transmission in the VB WRX and it’s a simulation of an 8 speed, feels like a good dct when driving.

This was my first car and it’s literally incredible. It’s a complete upgrade from the previous gen’s in every way (especially if you just paint match the fenders) and it’s so easy to make power. An intake and tune will get you to 330 whp easy, and it only goes up with more bolt ons.

The theory I see around is Subaru is gonna make something called the Ste (if I'm correct they went for a patent for the name Ste) the electric sti. They aren't giving up but they are definitely pivoting.

Those are the same engine swaps available in every WRX in the game, the LS3, WRX rally motor, and Porsche GT3RS engine. Also, the head gasket reliability argument died in 2010 when Subaru switched to multilayered steal gaskets for the EJ motors. This Subaru isn't even an EJ. It is much more reliable, but any Subaru after 2010 is reliable. I should know, I have a 2012 Subaru with over 120K miles.

Subaru hasn't competed in WRC in years.. those cars youre talking about are special built by Vermont Sports car the team behind Subaru Rally USA. They also have taken their ARA rally cars to Goodwood as well

I own a CVT Subaru Legacy and 0-60 is 2 seconds quicker in CVT mode vs. manual mode (where the CVT pretends to have 6 fixed gears) and top speed is nearly 10MPH more in CVT vs. manual.
