I’m genuinely happy a big KZbinr is honest with this game. I want to level up but I can’t since the only races I stand a chance at winning just nerf me so I genuinely don’t get what the game wants me to do. It’ll be dead before it’s fixed and when it gets fixed the game won’t have any players left. It genuinely breaks me that I waited years and years for this. Say what you want about motorfest but at least I can actually get money In that game

2:14 That was MCLA for me. Got it when I was 10 and I was crushed by the AI. My dad progressed in the game and I'd just drive around and be whacked in near all races up until I was like... 15 or 16 years old. Then I realized there was a story to that game my dad played halfway through (he stopped at some point because he got bored and wanted to work instead, and yes, he *wanted* to work) and finished it. I loved that game, no matter how hard it was. XD

This game is the most infuriating car game I have played. From serves randomly not working MID RACE, the lack of a restart option during the race, the ai being on expert at the beginning of the game then the inability to even have freedom of choice in difficulty, the damn economy system 1.4m for an r8 is mad wild. 2:20 the lack of difficulty options is one of my least favorite things, as well as the inability to pause. I work long hours, I don't want the car game to be stressful, and I want to be able to pause for irl things. It all comes from the forced always online thing. It is absolutely ruining the game.

This game has SO MUCH POTENTIAL! But, big but. Its controls are awful, the AI is impossible to beat, the driving dynamics of some cars are horrendous… I couldn’t care less about the visuals, I would of been happy if they just took TDU2 and made it better. But they have a lot of work to do to make this game preform better. If Forza adds some of the features in this game to the next horizon this game becomes pointless. Allow us to have a forza version of TDU2 where I can pick the options on my new car instead of being stuck with the ones they picked for us and let me buy a house and organize my garage.

I've been enjoying the game. Except for the first time I tried to login, I have had no server issues. Also I dont know how nick had to grind at the end there, I hit level 20 without repeating any races, and didn't even do one of the dirt races. Another thing is I think exploring can give a fair amount of xp, roughly above 25% each 1% you get gives like 2k xp.

I actually can't believe the fact they nerf the xp you get if you do the same race over and over which means the grinding gets worse and becomes pointless, i am definitely not going to buy this game ever now most likely because yikes, I'm dreading the full launch on the 12th because the sever issues will most likely become worse and people will realise how half assed this game is. As you say you've been having fun or were more accurately after you discovered that piece of stupid game design, plus the worst thing is none of this can be fixed right away as some of the development team have gone on strike. I bought the game, and ive been enjoying it. Just drive around and collect the coins and Rep, doing the side missions, doing the speed challenges and races, using cars that work and have them at the top of the class, and its a fun game. The always online thing i agree is stupid and no control over the AI difficulty too. Theres a way that nick plays which everyone can play how they want, but hees to do it in a way to make more entertaining videos, but i think it inherently sometimes makes the games harder and less enjoying to play for himself
