I don't care what anyone says, the test was a fair test between 4 recievers, no it aint the exact same as having them in the air, but all 4 had the exact same position. Great test Carl and Bubba. Thanks for taking the time and sharing with us, I have 3 lemonrx and they have been flawless so far.

+sr71afan Thanks for watching. We will be doing a "throw back" review of older Model Hobby King orange receivers comparing them to Redcon. Would love to test one of the new orange but no body has one.

I'd like to see a test done with transmitters. Use the same receiver but get a dx6/ dx7/dx8 and dx9. Or I try 3 or 4 different dx6i's. I've heard that the same transmitter models can have different ranges. Could be an interesting test. I would be curious to see if dx9 has anymore range than a dx4. Sometime I'm looking for a stronger signal sometimes but not necessarily more features.

Guy Horner we can try different DX6is. but not most of the new DX models because of their binding protocol. the Dx6i uses a "manual" binding process which leaves the binding process open as long as the bind switch is being held up. newer spectrum radios automatically stops the binding process when it starts talking with a receiver. which means it will only bind with one receiver at a time. we will try a older model 7, 8 etc.. as long as it has a binding switch, not a binding button.

Your right, I forgot about that. But several DX6I'S would be interesting. You could still bind a say DX9 to a receiver, drive out and see how far you get. Then bind a different transmitter to the same receiver then drive out to the same spot.

Do you think there's any connection between the fake AR500 always failing first and the fact that the camera guy is standing right in front of it? It's a nice test but the results are likely skewed because the camera guy and possibly other people are standing in front of at least one receiver which pretty much voids every thing you just worked so hard to do.

hi and thanks for watching. the only fake receiver on the board was the AR6200 not the AR500. and no, my presence nor any of the other veterans were in the line of reception of the receivers. when the driver started out he was to my left, slight behind the board at the end of the driveway. At that point the AR500 was already failing the sensitivity test. This failure continued throughout the remainder of the driving test. Once we did the walking test with the DX6i in "range check mode" the AR500 continue to lose the race as you seen in the video. if a receiver has a problem with a signal when it is only 3" from a receiver consistently performing much better, not to mention cheaper, then it must be the receiver. It is no surprise that the AR6200 didn't perform well as I knew it was fake when I purchased it. thanks again.

would have loved to see the AR7 Spektrum TM next to the copies ... "unfair advantage" has nothing to do with this. Measuring them up to the brand reciever would have been the ultimate. Also range is not specified ... Please do the tests properly!

for me the lemon was the clear winner. most stable and when it came back it was doing what it should be. redcon was very good and might of just beat the lemon with range but if you was in the air you would of crashed because at least the lemon would of gone into fail safe and returned full operation when signal returned..the red con would of been a disaster. i dont care if its only 5 bucks the plane costs alot..the lemon out performs even the real top spektrum recievers at a fraction of the cost so its a no brainer. ive always thought spektrum are poor and so over priced but lemon made the dsmx technology great at a fraction of the price...shame on spektrum. always have just been a big name and you pay over the top for it. i use a radiomaster tx16s and just starting out with planes recently but 15 years ago flying helis my hitec aurora out performed any spectrum. now im pretty rusty and learning everything again after 15 year break ive bought the lemon rx and had some signal probs and some crashes. setup problems was the first crash..2nd was a signal loss but i believe it was because the way i had the antennas and reciever right above the battery. ive sinced changed that a little and its been great..just bought the satellite to add to it so that will also improve the range considerably. anyway guys thanks for the vid and im sure when you watched it back its easy to see the lemon was by far the best best overall performing reciever. thankyou and God bless you all for all that you do

@@blazinbrettuk.lionofthetri4564 thanks for your comments and welcome back to the hobby. I haven't been flying much lately. Playing around with my drone from time to time. I seriously need to get back to flying. I truly need a hand full of new 2200 3s batteries, so I'm waiting for a manufacturer to send them tor for free🤣🤣🤣🤣.
