Looks really interesting, definitely following. This controller looks very performance friendly, are you looking to add any additional performance features? Something like Step Jump (Volca Sample) or a Looper (BeatStep Pro) would be amazing and really enhance its live jamming capabilities.

Step Jump would be excellent!! I use the shift for length like that, but it misses the starting step, will check on how to do it

Interesting stuff. With the 4 banks, would I be able to route those to different MIDI channels? Like if I have multiple hardware drum machines I want to sequence, is that feasible? That feature would make this sequencer very special. I love standalone sequencers, but most of them are focused on melodic content. I would love to run this alongside my Zaquencer. Will the final product have a case and proper knobs? I like the mechanical switches for buttons, but I'm not a huge fan of the bare 'stem' style potentiometer knobs. Looking forward to learning more about this!

Multiple channels send through just one a single midiport will always be like a timing bottleneck...if drums are the content.
