A fair take. Most people online seem to agree that it is too micro-managy.

it's not terrible but what really turned me off from the experience is having troops just sitting there taking up resources per turn. having to build certain buildings to upkeep certain troops and changing what my factory produces to meet the demand. if I could bring my troops back to my barracks, imo that one simple oversight would Change the game significantly. I mean there's a lot of "little oversights" but it seems like the devs are responding well to criticisms & have fixed some stuff

So this ended up being more than 10 mins. Ara was way too much to put into less than 10 mins. Sorry comrades!

Hey man, great review. I've played the game and I like it, I think it could be the foundation for something really great in the future. It reminds me a bit of Civ 5, especially with the aesthetic (fitting, since I've heard some of the Civ 5 devs worked on Ara).

@ChristianBerthiaume Wow thanks not only for checking my review out but also having the same sentiment as me. You know, now that I think of it Civ 5 is the one I have the most hours that I've invested in over all Civs so it makes even more sense I kept thinking it looked & felt great.
