Lava totem should be a shaman spell like was before , and just to apply AoE flame shock while ticks ....and wonder Lighting Bolt why it doesn't fly like before :( only for that reason I play lava build .....even in TWW it's seems ofc nerfed.

Mr 007, how do you think Ele Shamans feel in their gameplay? Obviously you're super comfortable with the class/spec. But as someone who might reroll, gameplay feels are super-important to me and quite the decision maker.

I wouldn’t say it’s smooth or easy right now. Definitely a little bit of a learning curve. Once you get the hang of it though it gets a lot easier

I really hope they either take the cd off Flameshock or make Lava burst spread FS like penance. Even if it was lava surge only lvbs.They could even make fire ele cast Flame shock on a target without every so often with its high uptime. Make empowered earthquake ticks have a chance to apply flameshock. There are so many options to make Flameshock spreading better.

after beta tuning 12s are likely not possible for most dungeons.. you def can on easy ones like NWake or Mists

They should solve FS spread with magma totem. Make it 20-30sec cd and dot 6 targets. Removing FS cd also good. Equake spreading flame shock won’t really help our openers and they are important. Going into a fresh pull being able to get 6 flame shocks up is critical and needs to be efficient. Currently we can only get 5 up asap then we wait for FS cd which sucks.

Lava beam deals no damage currently. Also, maestrolm generation is so bad for either chain lighting/ lava beam, that u get way more if I spam lava burst instead. That way u get more echos out faster.

lvbeam doing kinda meh damage, lavaburst increases chances of proc'ing DRE which = even more maelstrom and damage imo. In aoe im prio'ing getting those empowered quakes down asap.

@@hazztalent the thing is that all of our real aoe damage comes from echos itself. If you spam lava bursts, then u get more chances of getting icefruy procs and then fusion of the elements procs as well. Echos is uncapped aoe while lava beam only hits 5-6 targets. I would only press lava beam with both stormkeeper and ascendance up. Also, 1 lava burst = 10 maelstrom (or more with possible overloads). 1 chain lighting or lava beam = 10 maelstrom but only if you have at least 5 targets. They need to buff maelstrom generation for those spells!!!
