In John chapter 14 Thomas asks Jesus, this life’s greatest question “Thomas saith unto him. Verse 34 is a command- verse 35 says “BY THIS shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one TO another. (SPEAKERS CORNER ? - it’s hard to debate those that bring anger only), the discourse on the Mount of Olives- Peter’s denial was foretold (Jn 13:36-38). Simon Peter said unto him (Jesus), LORD, whither goest thou ? Jesus answered him (Simon Peter). Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. (V 36 and 38 are both prophecies which have been fulfilled). SO, what did Peter say unto Jesus, “LORD, why cannot I follow thee now ?” Peter then says “I will lay down my life for thy sake “(v 37). (as a Christian who loves the Lord with all my heart, this brings me much comfort). Now verse 3 is also a promise “And if I go (here Jesus is still speaking to those disciples and others gathered) and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, and RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am (in Heaven) THERE ye may be also. My Christian brothers and sisters, I leave this promise that Jesus spoke in (Jn. 14:27). Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Evidence is something that proves what is being claimed. For example, Quran is the word of God. Is there any evidence that Quran is the word of God.
