The reason why Jamaica stands out, is because through time, the people were/are less subservient than the surrounding islands. The people off Jamaica are held down in many ways from outsiders, you’re not welcome in their country, but they want to come and live in the island. The most classic, needing a visa to come to the uk where other islands never until now. And to top it off, the prime minister swears allegiance to the uk king. People want to flock to the island, it’s not a good thing to have mass immigration from cultures so far removed from your own, in such a small place. You will have no voice if immigration is not controlled. If not, there will be no more beach front land to be enjoyed by the native Jamaican. And the lush greenery will fast disappear with over lavish homes that don’t fit island life.
