I’m playing this for my middle school UIL performance and it’s super fun. Our band tends to love challenging music and the journey through this song was tough (especially considering I have never seen a high high f before and being the only 1st clarinet) but we ended up doing amazing in the end

1) I'd like to start off by saying very nice entrance. 2 During the flute solo, I saw that the flute behind the soloist was supporting. Which is nice, but the soloist should be able to hold their own. 3) Clarinets, after the second part of the solo make sure you guys are together in playing. 4) 0:57 Piccolo sounds a little sharp. 5) 1:18 enjoyed the intensity. 6) Very balanced over all. 7) Someone in the high woodwind came a little early at 1:39 8) 2:03 sounded like trumpets were taking off and French horns were struggling to keep up. 9) Good job on the run at 2:04 high woodwinds, make sure you guys are all together. 10) A big moment like 2:20 was excellent, but I heard someone hit the note and didn't support so it kind of sounded like a crack. 11) 2:34 Trombones, make sure you're confident when playing. 12) 2:36 Bass clarinet, don't take off. Stay with Tubas. Overall Begining: 2 - Excellent

Nice to hear but still need to improve. For example yes we know moving while we playing is fun but it can make us drag or rush easily. And the way they hit the darbukas was wrong and their rhythm on the percussion solo quite messy, it was so obvious especially on 16th note. But bravos to this band bcs they still can play this piece ❤️
