Hi my lovely hun, what a great selection. I am so sorry about your health and how you have suffered. Prayers that you will be feeling so much better and not go through this again. You know how much I love Rose Mystery, I also agree with you as I reach more often for this than my most beloved Amethyst as I feel Rose Mystery is easier to wear although filled with noir magic as well. I am so glad you suggested this perfume to me as it is such a huge love. I love the way you describe this ( and all the other perfumes). Liquid Brun sounds so tempting as does Khadlaj Empire Victor, December Vanilla also interests me so much as well Casablanca and Miraj , so many temptations but budget is now pretty tight with the car purchasing as Gerry needs a new car also, just as well that I decided to have a complete perfume purchasing pause. I also found that wearing Rose Mystery I became nose blind to this after about 1 to 3 hours or so. My trick to deal with this by grinding coffee beans or smelling great coffee beans. It actually happened by accident when I was desperate for a cup of coffee (please never let me have to give up coffee) and our De Longi Coffee machine was empty so I added new beans and these were ground and I stood there smelling these... suddenly when I walked away, I could smell Rose Mystery on my skin again and since then I have been doing this and it works for me. Before I would just spray it again and again and was told by someone walking past ( that they smelled my lovely perfume from far away 🤣😂😅, I took it as a compliment but yes, I am an over sprayer by nature) . It seems strange that this happened to Rose Mystery as it never ever happens to me ( going nose blind) to Amethyst or even Infini Rose. I was actually thinking of layering it with a hint of Infini Rose but luckily the coffee beans do the trick for me and reset my nose. ( I know they say coffee beans are great for smelling when you try to many perfumes but it never worked for me so much with this but for this it works fantastically) . Gerry is at home , as he is not well at the moment. Hey my Angel ❤❤❤ Thank you my hun. I am almost fully recovered now. Just need to quit a few bad habits I have lol. I knowwwww. Prior every winter, all the brands release perfumes which you and me especially like. Noir, dark, mysterious. It is all too tempting. But your plan is perfect babe. You have 30 plus perfume to enjoy and I am sure they get lonely ❤❤❤ Oh my goodness. I had the same experience with Rose Mystery. I got nose blind, and I was like no way this perfume needs a top-up. My colleagues come smell smell across the floor 😂 Someone else in the comments mentioned the same. So I am sure it is some ingredient that triggers the brain to anosmia lol. Anosmia, I dont even know if that is a real word 😂😂😂 Awww bless babe, I love your long comments. You know that. I can finally type but am being careful when the shoulder blades get tingly. @@SiminShaikh Oh, my hun , I hear you about bad habits lol. Not sure if I will ever be able to give them all up. 😂🤣😅 Plus I think I am a (polite) rebel at heart. 😁 It is so tempting to buy these incredible winter perfumes, yes, dark, noir and mysterious is indeed our cup of tea or bottle of favourite perfume. I wonder why we are so attracted to those perfumes, they are calling me like a siren 😃😄. I had an impulse to put on 2 perfumes today as it suddenly got warm and I used a sample bottle of Delilah which is not my type of scent and added this to the Summer 69 ( Naseem Aqua ) and suddenly this turned more mysterious on my skin and is has a slight noir feel or perhaps just a mysterious note now. Love when this happens, it is sort of like magic. I counted over 60 ME scents at last count and would not continue as there were more and I thought , OK, it is indeed time to pause. But I know some of the ones you mentioned will be mine eventually 😅as they sound so wonderful. The good thing is that they will be more affordable at a later stage usually anyway. And we are going into a humid summer apparently with very warm nights so I would not wear them yet anyways. Anosmia sounds like a Warrior Queen or an elf 😂, doesn't it. May be she tricks us with her spells so we cannot smell the perfume anymore. I wonder what note it is in Rose Mystery, I keep sniffing coffee beans and that helps a bit, but I love re spraying anyways 😂😉. Life is too short to be an under sprayer 🙃😉. Oh, the shoulder blade tingles drive me mad at times. They tend to happen when I try and sleep as well. Oh what fun , NOT... Please be careful not to overdo things and take care my lovely angel. Kaheela Lux is one of my all time favorites, it's SO good. I'm not sure what's going on with the different notes listed though. I'm in the US and when I search for KL online, the notes that are listed for it on various retail sites are: Top: Tobacco Leaf, Sour Cherry, Honey, Chocolate, Hazelnut Middle: Ceylon Cinnamon, May Rose, Damask Rose, Citrus Lef Base: Agarwood (Oud), Vanilla, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Cypriol Oil, Patchouli, Musk Because as you said, there is a definite tobacco note in there and I also smell the cherry. Anyway, regardless, it smells amazing!

Hey my hun ❤ I would agree. Its my go to perfume. I smell most of Casablanca for sure. So starwberry is a tricky note in ME fragrances. Some people expect and strawberry milk kind of (Lattafa Yara) or fresh Strawberry (Cherry Ahmed Al Maghribi) but I have still not come across a single realistic one yet ❤

Hi, Sim! I finally have a decant of Shaghaf Oud Tonka and I love it. The price, not so much. 😢 That's why I can't buy it yet. 😭 I want to try Amber 07 but I can't find a decant and the full bottle prize, it's heartbeaking as well. I have a decant of Qissa Delicious as well. I can't smell any orange on mine at all! It's all coconut and vanilla and it's so overwhelming. I can only bear to wear it with Choco Musk oil. Thank goodness for the decants! Otherwise, it will be such a disappointment for me to buy a full size bottle. 😅

I hate amethyst, I love infinit rose, is rose mystery in between these two perfume? Btw i love club the nuit intense too, its so unique, the oud smooth, the pachouli prominent which might be why i love it

@@SiminShaikh just want to share, I just got my alwataniah anwan yesterday, interestingly it has similar vibe as Khamrah line but different notes, sweetness come from the caramel instead of dates , while the lavender balance the sweetness instead of cinnamon. Its interesting they have similar vibe but yet different 😍

I'm glad to share my obsession 🫶, I just need the weather to get a little bit cooler before I can break it out again, but I've put the Platinum version away til next Spring/Summer. I do have a bit of a strange question, though.... I sometimes hear Ouds referred to as "barnyard-y" or "💩-y" and being as I don't live somewhere where Ouds are super popular, I don't think I've ever experienced this (I have a few Oud-forward fragrances, but they all smell very pleasant to me). K, so here's where my question gets weird: could you actually recommend some that DO smell like a barnyard? I just want to experience what people are talking about (don't worry, I'll try to find samples as so I'm not spending $ on stuff I'm not gonna wear 😅). Thank you!

Hahaha if you want to get a glimpse of it, try and get your hand on Ajmal's Dahn Al Oud Al Shams (either Oil or Spray). You will for sure know what I am talking about when you smell it. Also the old Empire Victor has an unmistakable Barnyard Oud note. I would suggest you just sample them in a store coz they are a bit much ❤❤❤

I do think you'd like Platinum. It's definitely for Spring/Summer and it's a bit tropical and floral. Beachy, but not in the stereotypical "sunscreen" way. There are two perfumes in that range from French Ave., Sweet Paradise (pink bottle) and Meringue (pale yellow bottle) that I'm really interested in getting. However, I don't think those have been released in the US, at least not yet, because I haven't found any retailer online that carries them. The other two in the range, Liquid Brun (brown bottle) and Luscious (light green bottle) are available here though. I'm not sure why the other two haven't been made available here, but I really hope that they will be in the near future.
