You always make such amazing journals. Back in the day it was more common for the fairy tales and folklore stories to have sad endings. Like the little mermaid died in the end but then the story got "Diesneyfied" and she won the prince. I used to LOVE the 1000 and 1 nights stories. I had it as a thick thick book as a kid and then when we started to learn English a friend gave me a book in easy english and it had one of the stories from thousand and one nights in it. Thank you for sharing this.

Oh they are beautiful journals Liz! I love these stories and have a great copy on my shelf that I used to read to my nephew when he was young! We also named our Lab after a character from the book, Sinbad! 😊❤
