My parents are both from Egypt, they are immigrants. They tired to teach me Arabic when I was 5 but they gave later thinking its not worth it. I know some Arabic by listening to my parents speak and when spoken too I can reply a little bit but it sound stupid so now I really want to learn Arabic so I can actually communicate with my relatives and not rely on my parents all the time.

I know this stuff. Im African American and was raised in madrasahs. I was taught the Quran by Pakistani teachers and Arabic teachers receiving unique teachings from each of them. Very fun memories from my childhood and it was nice to refresh my memory. 😊 Thanks for the video !

as a person who studied arabic when i was a child, for me it was very easy as long as you dont pressure urself! make sure to learn alphabets first and such and take baby steps. Not pressuring yourself will make you remember it more + ask the teacher if you’re really confused about something it helps so much
