as a persian, let me give you some advice and tips. those candy on stick is called rock candy which is from persia and the way that you used them was the right way. and for the Dough, it's a traditional drink in Iran and you should drink it after kebab. add a little bit of salt or black pepper to it, the taste will be different. for the brain part, you should heat it up and eat it with a bread or something.
