Forgetting to write the meem in your previous lesson was a great "mistake." Because you forgot, we get this lesson and it is awesome. I really appreciate the extra detail about meem here. If you had remembered to write it before, this video would not exist. Shukran jazilan!

When writing the circle part of the meem, is it more effective to draw it in clockwise direction, or counterclockwise ? Thanks
@ArabicKhatawaat
@ArabicKhatawaat 5 жыл бұрын
Good question! It's all up to you. But I believe that counterclockwise will take you back to the line to connect meem with another letter. That's the only reason why I go that direction.

Marhaba, something is not yet clear to me: Does it matter in which direction I draw the circle of Meem? (You did it counter-clockwise in this video, while most others that I've seen draw it in clockwise direction.)
@ArabicKhatawaat
@ArabicKhatawaat 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I haven't thought of which direction my writing went with meem. Thanks for pointing that out. All you have to focus on is making a good sized meem circle. Writing in clock wise or counter clock wise will differ in connected and isolated form. If you have to draw a circle attached to a line, then counter clockwise will drag you back to the line to attach to other letters. I hope my explanation makes sense. But I m glad you paid attention to such detail😊👍

hi, thank you very much for these videos. very helpful. I have one question: it's the word "misbah" why is the last letter "h" written in the isolated form? I why not the final form? I mean, there are letters in front of "h" but no letters after "h", so I thought that it's written with the final form.? Thank you for your answer in advance. :)

Hi and thanks a lot for this helpful video regarding the letter 'mim'. As for me, my biggest concern regarding the letters of Arabic alphabet is with two letters, namely the letter "Rhaïn" which follows the letter "Haïn" in the alphabetical order, and the letter "Rhaf" which follows the letter "Fa" in the alphabetical order. The big trouble with these two letters lies in the way we pronounce each of them because to me there is no difference of sound between these two letters. Can you please dedicate a video focusing on the difference between these letters by giving examples that help Arabic learners to distinguish between these two letters in order to use the right one especially when it comes to Arabic writing.Up to now, I have watched many and many videos for Arabic learners, and I haven't found any which talk about that which makes the sonic difference between these two important letters. Thank you 😊 a lot for your helpful videos and have a great 👍 day.

Arabic Khatawaat oh... I apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable or bad, I didn't know that is not correct to thank “for duty” (did I translate well? 🧐

Paula Suazo Viguera not at all! No need to apologize 😉 That's an expression. The answer to Shukran is usually la shukra 3ala Wajib..meaning that It's a joyful duty to help 😊(a humbling answer to thank you 😊)
