I love to se the real texture on the skin that moste of actually have...most influencers uses lights and filter and that’s why we get disappointed when our makeup doesn’t look like a filter in real life! 💖🙌💖 Thank you Huda for showing you skin up close and real❣️ Have to tell you that I loooove The easy bake powder, my skin looks flawless and I get so much compliments when I use it❣️ The Rose gold and dessert dusk is my most loved palettes🙏 I live in Sweden but my parent are from Iran so the colors are made for my style and my taste of makeup😍 💄 I’m kind of mixing both sides of this tutorial😊 But I have never used false lashes or contacts, I have so full lashes and I don’t want to harm them😇🙈 Really interesting to seeing the difference in makeup styles👌💖

I also think a lot of european make up trend are based on arabic make up trend, they didnt use to wear such heavy cat eyeliner like arabian women used to. I feel like an important part of the culture and identity of arabian women is lost, because this is not recognised. For us, this is not just fun make up, it is really a cultural identity. Even cleopatra is known to buy her Kohl (black eye powder) from arabian traders.
@aisha62866 жыл бұрын
Veronika Zimmermann actually it’s is Arab and we take it from something called حجر الاثمد (al Athmed stone) from Jordan and Syria which are Arab countries the word kohl is Arabic too but I believe Indians call it something else I’m not sure what it is😊
@Lilliz915 жыл бұрын
You forgot 60’s when heavy eyeliner was used. Please educate yourself, it’s like you’re trying virtue signal. So should people not wear eyeliner anyway because it’s Arab cultural identity? I guess rest of the world can’t wear jeans because it was invented in America? Oh and cars can’t be used as it’s part of western identity. Blue eye contacts shouldn’t be used either as that is making Northern Europeans lose their identity and feel less appreciated.

I took spanish in high school for a year total and still cant really speak it but i can identify a few things words and can make tiny sentences, beginner stuff. Did your parents speak arabic? Did you grow up speaking it? Also do you reccomend MSA? Or learning a sub language such as a dialect from a select area at first. Sorry for all the questions, when i find arabic speakers i tend to try to get as much info as possible.

@Fátima Mubarek Chayed MSA as in modern standard arabic. From what i hear no one really speaks it during things of everyday life in arabia and n. Africa and places of that nature. but it is a form of arabic that the news and media outlets use. Here in america when you can find arabic (its not offred everywhere here from my expirence its very hard to find) usually they teach modern standard arabic. But what really stinks is they dont even teach you a certain type of arabic for a region for example morrocan arabic.

UN POPULAR OPINION ( I love HUDA I think she makes amazing products most of the time and if you love her don’t read this cause y’all gonna b annoying) Huda isn’t really good at makeup. It’s very cakey I understand that she is wearing a good amount of makeup but like come on you have an amazing makeup brand but you can’t do your makeup
@joelle33436 жыл бұрын
I think you find it caked because her videos don't include bright lights and filters. She puts the same amount (hell probably even less) of makeup as most influencers but because of the realness of her videos you see more details which is why it's showing the cakiness.
@pr3ttyhaze5 жыл бұрын
Actually that's how makeup looks on beauty gurus they just use filters p.s. celebrities and beauty guru's have tired skin cuz of the amount of makeup they put! So.......
@anshelsaldanha76974 жыл бұрын
Hey Lucy, I totally get you're point, but when you actually do this kind of makeup it does look kind of cakey that's because of the amount of product used, using good lighting and filters that mostly other gurus do makes it look smooth, if you really want to make it look like smooth product usage must be minimized

I LOVED this video when Christen Dominque did this series on her channel.... I don’t think this is very accurate. You aren’t doing different make up looks, your doing different techniques. Western Counties use a LOT of cream contour, then powder contour, as well as bronze the skin a lot and bake a TON. And um ya we wear blush, we LOVE blush. This whole video is completely misleading. It’s not what products and techniques (baking) to use that’s different but it’s how it’s applied (eyeliner is the biggest difference).

Baking has been here since the early 2000s i learned it from a makeover tv show .
