Assalamu alaikum- I have just come across your videos and MaShaaAllah they are excellent- you have a gift for explaining. Besides your videos do you actually teach classes?

In short: In writing and formal speech, case endings like Damma and Tanween are important for meaning and grammatical accuracy. In informal speech, they are often dropped or simplified for ease. The reason behind not pronouncing them in casual speech is due to the natural evolution of spoken Arabic, which favors simplicity over maintaining the full complexity of the classical case system.
