I think what I appreciate about their story the most, is the balanced portrayal of both women and men in a loving and real relationship. I love that Aragorn can also show his emotional and weak side, and his need for his woman to support him! It is so wrong for hollywood to continue feeding the lie that the woman is always emotional and the man is always strong. A real relationship is a team, with a united goal and love. It's just the best, that they uplift one another and meet each others needs completely, to live that life together.

One of the best changes Peter Jackson made in these movies was giving more attention to Arwen. While the lore of Arwen choosing to die with Aragorn over immortality is incredibly powerful, the actual relationship between Aragorn and Arwen is barely explored in the book. In the movies we see both Aragorn and Arwen’s perspective as they both long for each other but believe they will never see each other again. I also love how while Aragorn is one of the main characters of the trilogy, most of their romance scenes are from the perspective of Arwen, allowing her character to be explored in greater depth in spite of her relatively low screen time.

Arwen is underrated, she was strong within herself, she had the ability to reach out to aragon in his mind, his sleep, she was protecting him from afar, she could even see into the future 🙌how you think she came and picked frodo. When he was ill, she had powers, to heal also. did you see what she did to the water when she was being chased? She can fight also to protect herself....and a heart of gold. She was aragon's motivation to fight for the throne. Elrond put isildur's sword back together only because of his love for his daughter arwen. Guys arwen was the prize! a whole queen. Sorry even I wouldn't leave her for eowyn. By the way I loved eowyn. Eowyn was in a good place too she ended up faramir,one with a heart of gold too. They both needed a break from matters to do with the throne. I would take faramir home too.

so long as i love Arwen and Aragorn story, you should defenetely read the Silmarillion and the story of Beren and Luthien (that was also referred to by Aragorn when he sings at the fire with the hobbits sleeping. The Silmarillion is something you will never fin anywhere else, in any sense and any meaning, just by itself. And even if it wasn't enough, it helds the most beautiful and teardropping love story you could ever find. This is also the reason why Tolkien had have the names "Beren" and "Luthien" on his and his wife resting place. And it's also what inspires the story between Arwen and Aragorn, that are the second couple of elf and human bonding themselves to each others for eternity, at least in Middle earth history.
