I am a huge fan of deckbuilding that questions whether cards we assumed must go in the deck actually belong. I think it demonstrates true consideration of the problem presented by the hero and is the sign of a deckbuilder who's thinking the right kind of way. Deck looks cool!

At 10:00 you mention liking the base ability more than the demis. I agree! The Demis are nice because they punish Inna different way, but the ability for Arakni to snowball if they do/don't block the +1/ga is really powerful

This new set just gave Assassin SO MANY good budget disruption cards that can replace the expensive stuff like CnC and specifically Leave No Witness for Funnels Web which in this deck is a 0 for 4 on hit arsenal disruption if ur opponent is marked (Not hard to do). Very strong commons and rares in this set.

this was a great video. i wish the video was longer because I have been having a hard time understanding the interactions between the cards and the combos you can do. I would not mind if you made an hour long video just talking about the hero and interactions with the cards in the deck, how to mark effectivelyt and how often as well as how to play on each agent (orb weaver is so difficult especially if oyu dont equip a graphene). anyways great video and I hope to see more mario

I'm a fan of this list! Especially at a newcomer that doesn't own CnC it's refreshing to see a list that doesn't have it. I'm not really too deep into FaB where I really want to buy the super expensive Cards like Codex of Frailty. Is there an alternative to Codex? I wanna build this deck when the prices hopefully come down from the Hunted high, but until then I wanna try out a version on Talishar that I can realistically build in a few weeks/months.

You honestly can run this list pretty efficiently even withoutcodex. Yes codex is super powerful and very good addition to the list but it’s not like you can’t play the hero without it. I would just add in three more really good red stealth attacks !

Yeah, that’s always a solid option! I do like having multiple trap activations it really benefits me, especially if I only want to run one or two traps, but both are solid!

Bite is one I've got in my deck in the mean time until I get pain in the backside. I also had a little joke with my 17 year old when I saw the card for the first time I told him they named a card after him then I told him it's called pain in the backside. 😂. He gave me the devil stare 😆. He knew I was joking with him, we do it a lot to each other.

Sadly just saw on the Judge discord that Chelicera won't keep the Agent effect when it's flicked, unlike Kiss of Death. Either way, really cool stuff, some great ideas in here.

I don’t really need that much dagger recursion in the deck and pitching an entire blue for a 2 card 5 power dagger is just under rate to me. Savior does something similar, but actually can draw me a card.

@TCGTALKYT i guess pick up the point is more versatile but it's just less value. If your reasoning is that a 2 card 5 is bad value than surely a 2 card 4 with pick up into dagger isn't great either right? I just don't really see where pick up shines more than up sticks

I think Funnels Web is a great budget Leave no Witness. Best way to get value outta it is by attacking with ur daggers every turn to make ur opponent assume that u have BW or Funnels Web to rip cards outta their hands. Make em have that "If u have it u have it" typa mentality so u can disrupt them easier.

It looks like this is gonna be a cheap deck for new players if you don't use codex of frailty I hope Arakni cards don't get to expensive and the deck can work without codex

I think your list doesnt really have enough relevant on-hits for your 3-power attacks. I also disagree on the C&C take. Codex + C&C is one of the strongest plays an assassin can make. The fact that you remove the mark with the on-hit is not that relevant for me, because i think the other forms are mostly weaker than the base form. Yeah, you can't buff / discard C&C for any of those demi-hero effects, that stinks, but you can always block with C&C and use like any of the other 57 cards in your deck for discarding.

Cutting CnC is the right move

You sacrifice some on hits for more power ceiling and more consistency. Also having six widows one LNW3 surgical and kiss of death that can hit 10+ easily and be flicked. Yeah you don’t need as many hits lol. And for command and conquer it’s just a difference in opinion. Arsenal hate matters less than less now people are used to playing against assassin and it really doesn’t make a ton of a difference.
