Funny enough, I got out of a fight just that way when I was 17. While I was waiting for my bus, three guys told me they wanted to check out my phone. I foolishly agreed, and they started playing with it, clearly not intending to give it back, and I knew I'd screwed up. My mother called, so I took it back, apparently so fast they didn't see it coming. They clearly got pretty mad and weren't gonna let this go. I foolishly eventually hung up without telling my mother anything yet, and they went right back to me, and very soon after, one of them threw a right hook at my face. I didn't expect it at all, but his hand basically bounced off my cheek. I got knocked into a thousand-yard stare, but they ran away, and I didn't know why for ever. I guess I got my answer now. To this day this is the only punch I've ever taken.

@@babayagagaming123 that’s exactly it though. The fighter targets a guy in the stands, acts like he’s got to get to him to “send a message” and then jostles his hair like a cabbage patch doll. What message was actually sent with that?
