Hi, Ara. I am a new subscriber from Texas, USA. I am completely new to journaling and will be attempting a prayer journal. I'm not at all artistic like you are, so it has been so very interesting to observe the use of Washi tape (what a wonder!!) and the various types of stickers you use. You certainly have an extensive inventory of materials. Through you I have discovered Japanese stationery and supplies, a world completely unknown to me before. I've been completely impressed by the company, Washi Tape. I have placed a couple of orders with them and have received personal correspondence thanking me for ordering their materials and even one agent combining two separate purchases into one to save money on the orders!! Phenomenal! Such courtesy and thoughtfulness is virtually unheard of here in the States, to our shame. I'm so grateful to you for your channel. You have so many positive qualities, Ara. Hi Ara🌻💕, I'm watching late at night today- too much energy because I had coffee☕, black tea☕ and cola🥤 and I can't have all three in one day if I want to sleep😅 but I forgot that I had black tea. It looks so peaceful to watch the snow. Coco and Chu Chu look really comfortable and happy. We had a lot of rain🌧🌦⛈🌧🌧🌧🌥 this past week, so I spent time watching the rain at night. Thankfully it was not too much rain in my neighbourhood- some places had floods and sinkholes! I really love the little hearts on your new binder❤❤❤ and it's interesting to see the square page layout. I had a square journal a few years ago, but I didn't finish it. It does take some getting used to that shape, but the shape also is very nice to look at. I thought the face expression on your drawing of the barista was so cute! It made me feel really happy. But I must ask what eraser you are using that is so good? It always erases so clean. I have to draw with blue lead if I want to outline and then erase the pencil. Otherwise my drawings look dirty, even when I work with H lead pencils and an art putty eraser. Maybe I just press too hard? It's odd to say, but you have good erasing skills, Ara. I realised recently, that I miss going to cafés. At cafés, I normally order a moccachino, but at home I have plunger coffee( I make moccachino at home too, but these days I'm preferring plain coffee). I always buy from the same brand. Years ago I went to a Saturday market, and the owner of the coffee brand was there explaining about coffee. He taught me how to make plunger coffee better, and advised me to try coffee from each country in their range. My favourite ended up being Tanzanian. The packaging at the time also had a picture of a date stamp, and that date stamp was my birthday! It was fate. 😂💗☕ But just today, I tasted a coffee that was good enough to make me want to buy it regularly. It would be just my luck that the coffee is out of stock online😓 It's a small business on the other side of the country, so I hope they are okay. The coffee was actually a blend with superfoods like chaga root, cacao, cinnamon and turmeric. It tasted like a Starbucks Christmas drink, but not too strongly flavoured. It seems good for drinking everyday, and it looks like it's popular. I really miss cafés😅 This week, I was craving chocolate eclairs, but I'm too lazy to make choux pastry, and the supermarket eclairs are not so nice. But maybe I should just make it. Again, I had a little bit of a difficult time with journaling, but this is because my family heard some sad shocking news. I didn't know how to journal about it. But last night, I decided to try just journaling with helping my emotions in mind. I don't think I was able to journal about it properly, but I still felt a lot better. Even just pre-making some journaling supplies ahead of time helped to make me feel better. Watching your video today is also helping me with my thoughts about this news. I also took your example, and decorated the insides of 2 birthday cards of friends I saw after a long time this week. I tried to think carefully about what to write too. They were both very touched by the cards. My one friend is leaving to work overseas, and she said it meant a lot to her to receive that, because she had been having a very difficult time for the past year. I think it showed me that it's actually very good to share our hearts and sincerely make efforts for the people we care about. I was happy to encourage her again. There are some journaling items I am curious about, but I will have to think further carefully because I wouldn't want to request a review on something that is totally not your style taste. I am not sure if someone may have answered your question, but the extra leather near the rings are probably to not damage the "main" leather with the binder rings! Your videos are always relaxing an I am currently binge-watching your videos! Love them very much!!!

아라님, 또 사버린 새로운 다이어리.. ㅎㅎㅎ 욕심에 대해 살짝 후회하는 모습이 귀여우십니다. 산 걸 후회하기엔 이미 늦으셨으니 잘 사용하시길 바래요. 저는 다이어리 종류는 잘 모르고 속지를 바꿔 끼는 노트는 거의 사용하지 않아서 잘 모르지만 아라님 덕분에 간접 경험을 하게 되네요. 정사각형이라 면적도 크고 보기 좋은 거 같아요. 오늘 영상과 다꾸는 왠지 모르게 더욱 편안한 느낌이었어요. 다이어리 그림도 역시 예쁘고 맛있는 커피와 쿠키까지 있어서 더 좋았나봅니다. 저도 시나몬가루 좋아해서 카푸치노도 즐겨 마십니다. 빵순이라 맛난 빵 보니 먹고 싶..ㅎㅎ 스티커들도 다 너무 귀엽고.. 😍 클리어스탬프 저랑 똑같이 정리하셔서 반가웠답니다. 날씨가 많이 풀려서 포근하게 한 주를 시작하네요. 이번 주도 건강하게 잘 보내세요. 💙

this is true! I just started journaling recently due to the amount of journal content I see on the internet, and I recently made a few pages and it was not easy! I kept running out of ideas and you always have to find some pics and print them and cut them just to paste then in your page, it takes a lot of time and effort, but it is very therapeutic!

@@florence.066 instead of printing, I use old magazine pages, shop booklets and newspapers. along w ‘trash’ around my house… although I never have an idea of what I am going for on my spreads.

I drink a cup of green tea at work to help minimise my anxiety. Sometimes I enjoy a cold milo (with a lot of milo and just a little bit of milk) at home. Tonight I prepared a small package of gifts and a card for a friend on the other side of the planet who is not well. It’s been a long day at work - I should be in bed as I must get up at 6:30am - it’s nearly 2am and you were gentle inspiring company to have as I made the card and wrapped the gifts.

I was having a restless mind this couple of days. Tried going to gym and hopping on and off buses and walking around the city to release the energy, but I couldn't pinpoint what caused it. A few minutes in watching your video and opening my journal altho not writing anything yet and my mind felt calmer. Sometimes it's indeed like this. Just being present and suddenly all the restlessness gone. Thank you for catalysing it.
