Having had over a thousand views since 2015, I am astonished at zero comments and zero thumbs up or down. This is indeed very rare Khachaturian and there is much to admire here,as usual in this composers' writing. Did he ever write a dull piece? Love it.

I'm drooling!. I think this is the only vocal piece from Khachaturian and it has the same stunning expressive strength as in other of his other works. I don't understand why he didn't wrote just one Opera, ever! It would be really magnificent.

He has other choral pieces. He has also written various songs but not so many of them.
