Bad and poorly written series, just like war and peace. BBC and its lousy screenwriters. Instead of solving problems of the book's historical imprecision, the screenwriters wrote a mediocre fanfic about France.

Their purpose never forms a parallel series with the Musketeers book. There are already hundreds of successful productions made for this. BBC shows are often based on scripting myths and historical events
