Al, who is this Melville Bloom anyway. You are a fantastic, wonderful, and Splendid Guitarist! You are also a very good performer as well! He has no idea what he is even talking about. My dad played the guitar for 45+ years! He played other string instruments also very, very well! My dad also used a pick, plus his fingernails to play. You keep on playing for us all those Beautiful, and Spectacular tunes of Yours! ❤️❤️❤️🎶 :)

Horrible guitar technique

I've never worried about my 'technique' as long as I get a good tone from my guitar and can acheive my creative aspirations I'm happy doing it my way.

@@AlMarconiOfficial it's obvious you haven't "worried" about your technique. Your lack of quality tone is related to your lack of technique. Good tone on the classical guitar requires use of right hand nuanced fingerpicking NOT using a pick. Using a pick is like taking a sledge hammer to a fine sculpture. Good guitarists use the fingernail and flesh of the fingers of the right hand. Your left hand is also incredibly sloppy with bad form. You'd never be able to play even basic classical guitar pieces with such poor technique. I suggest looking at how real classical and flamenco players use their hands

@@Raging_Granny_Gamer Wow! Melville...so much angst! You are clearly an expert so I look forward to seeing your videos on this platform one day. In the meantime for a guy with such poor technique I seem to be doing OK after three decades as a pro. My favourite two guitarists both use a pick...so your judgement is as misplaced as your knowledge of me as I use my fingers as well as a pick...but you wouldn't know that would you because you are too quick to judge another whom you have so little knowledge of. Oh and in my opinion many of the worlds most famous sculptures would be better if someone took a sledgehammer to them!
