See Kerala at its best during the Vallasadya at Aranmula Temple in Pathanamthitta. Held during the Onam season, the event is celebrated with much gusto by devotees who make the offering as well as the invited boatmen. With over 60 dishes served on banana leaves and the robust songs by boatmen demanding their favourite dishes, it's an experience like no other.

Aranmula is a cultural centre where only men enter on the boats women's are not allowed because we don't have anything with that it is the culture coming from 700 years ago so we have to follow that,as an aranmula citizen I know these things as a 13 year old , but women's can participate in the feasts also.
