Good morning Dennis!! A really great video, beautiful old boats, lots of history there. It reminded me of going to the cemetery and finding old graves, very sentimental. That joke was funny. Pelicans reminded me of the men who meet at McDonalds for coffee every morning, everybody had their own spot. I hope you have a goid Sunday my friend

Happy Sunday morning to you Dennis. That video had it all. If those old ships/boats could talk! They looked so cool against the clouded sky. The wind & piano locked it in as one of the all-time greats!🎥 👍🏼👍🏼 (crittersizing☺).

Good morning amigo. That is very kind of you. I really do appreciate it. I really enjoy the videos where I don't talk or talk very little. I'd rather have some music or the sounds of nature. Now this one had a lot of natural sounds but it was mostly people blasting music from their boats or trucks or from the restaurant so I had to drop that and add some appropriate music and then one long winded capture. Too much information? 😀

Good morning Dennis! I really enjoyed the up-close look around the boatyard. Those big boats look like they've lived hard lives. Are they there to be restored? Or is it just storage for them? The Arnold looked pretty good and had some distinctive colors. I love the name Dragon's Den, especially for a red boat. It felt really haunting out there with the wind whistling through. Nice look down those railroad tracks too. Still waiting on a 2102? Odd that it hasn't shown up yet. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for mine ...
@dennis783822 жыл бұрын
Good morning Jamie. As far as I know they are being restored. I was told by a buddy that Dragon's den has been there since hurricane Harvey and suffered severe damage so that might be a loss. Good luck in your hunt for the train

I like the railroads tracks, I am assuming unused now. I thought the ones in Robstown were unused until I moved here. Lol. I was caught by surprise once I started pulling up to one and heard loud honking and the gates closing. The whole time I lived in Corpus and even Annaville I had no idea the tracks in Robstown were active. I was so out of touch. Lol. Now I have a thing for trains, I really like the honking. My kids would love to see these boats, I was disappointed that the old ship at the Museum of Science and History was no longer there when we went. I knew it was damaged a few years back in a hurricane but I thought it was repaired by the time we went. Hopefully one day.
@dennis783822 жыл бұрын
Good afternoon Sarah. They have been recently been used. There's a pretty good size train right now in Rockport right at the Aransas Pass border. Two big engines and may be a dozen or so cars. They have no flashing lights in Aransas Pass so there have been some close calls at the intersections.
@sarahcarrizales97592 жыл бұрын
@@dennis78382 I have crossed a few of those and always make sure to look both ways, one can never be too careful. The horn is pretty loud but sometimes people have music on, and in general just aren't paying attention. I know a few years back two kids and a man we're killed at a crossing with no gate. I need to look it up again to refresh my memory on where exactly it happened but it was in this area. Edit: ok after some Googling I see it happened in Mathis and the guy survived, two kids were killed, one hospitalized but I think the third eventually died. So sad. Trains are so powerful, I will never cross without making sure one isn't coming first.
@dennis783822 жыл бұрын
I do remember that happening in Mathis. It's gonna take a while for people in this area to get a custom to trains running again
