Bang gua mau sedikit koreksi kayaknya ada salah penyebutan. Bukan crossbreeding tapi inbreeding karena kalo crossbreeding itu biasanya indukannya bukan dari pasangan yang sama. Sedangkan inbreeding itu sebutan buat perkawinan sedarah. Semakin banyak inbreeding nya semakin banyak kelainannya.

Air sungai tempat mereka tinggal kan udah melalui banyak media (pasir, tanah, kerikil, lumpur, dll) yang menyaring air ratusan kali disertai dengan proses yang lebih kompleks ketimbang filtrasi buatan manusia. Contoh sederhananya, air dari mata air gunung yang bersih rasanya lebih "enak" daripada air galon Aqua.

He got a cool YT video out of it but then tried to position himself as an authority when his stock and trade is buying and selling mass produced animals. The same thing happened when the "Golden Flounder" came on the market. They were worth thousands wild caught but farmers didn't want to spend the money to acquire the specimens so rich youtubers (or more accurately youtubers pretending to be rich) bought and ate them while the farms were just trying to find them to churn them out. Now look at the Golden Founder Farms, they're simple recessives, no mystery to those who know. There will be more white peacock bass, but what he did for money will set the whole market for them back probably a dozen years.

Which is funny you would think that the captive-bred ones would grow bigger than the wild ones because they're fed constantly they have you no food all the time but that just proves how much room these fish really need and if somebody buys arapaima or a pacu and you're planning on trying to keep that fish in a 25-gallon tanked don't buy the damn thing because those two big old long silver fish that swim in behind these guys yeah those are your arapaima tell me that's going to fit in your 25 gallon fish aquarium and there's a lot of people that don't know what an arapaima is a lot of guys just turning into this for the very first time don't know how big some of these I think that should be a standard in the fish keeping community you have to let the customer know about that fish I'm sorry man because what you're doing is you're putting that fish either a to a crappy ass life or your settings his ass to deathand you can't tell me you love fish that much if you're just willing though you know sell them willy-nilly to everybody and don't let him know how big they grow and knowing that these people ain't going to be able to take care of these this fish when it gets even 2 months old little less you know two years it should be a standard in the fish keeping community but I know there's a lot of people out there that are just scumbags and they want the bottom I'm not calling you guys that that's for oh damn scumbag because I'm sorry you put out a video and you can actually see how big some of these fish get even when they're little they're young fish so yeah I'm talking about when these places get them you know two in long and they sell him his regular aquarium fish and they're not regular aquarium fish I can't stand that I said you can't love to fish that much because you're sentencing that fish to death or one hell of a crappy ass life fish don't deserve it it didn't ask to be put

They breed them like bring the dog for aggressiveness or dog fur being it just find the lighter fish and they breed them then they take the lighter ones of those and the lighter ones of the other batch and they breed those together they take the lighter fish of those fish that they just bread out of those two that's how you start getting albino take the the trait that you want lightness and you start breeding the lighter fish to each other and trust me their offspring will come out lighter than they are not by much but they will be lighter and you keep going down that way that's how they get them that's why they're so God darn expensive when it's the very first one because it took so damned long to get the right to fish together at the right time and the right distance apart from the very beginning to get that white fish where to get that goldfish yeah these guys just haven't been doing this stuff you know for the last couple of years they've been breeding this stuff for years upon years can 20-30 years of breeding just to get the fish that they want
