Raw Banana Bajji Recipe | Aratikaya Bajji is one of the famous street foods available on Andhra Streets, especially during monsoon seasons.
Tips to make a perfect raw banana bajji recipe:
• Adding little soda will make aratikaya bajji soft and puffy.
• Make besan flour batter to thick consistency so that batter coats slices well to give thick and puffy texture.
• Put raw banana slices in saltwater so that they do not turn black.
• To get a thick batter coat to raw banana slices we need to clean them over a clean cloth.
• People who love to eat a bit spicy can make a paste of ginger, garlic, green chillies and onions. Mix this paste along with spices in besan flour.
• After making this recipe if you are leftover with batter add few onions to make onion pakora.
• When deep fried, always put flame at a medium temperature so that we can cook evenly giving it a crispy texture.
Aratikaya Bajji Ingredients:
Raw Bananas - 2 No.
Besan flour - 1 bowl
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt - 1 ¼ tbsp.
Red chilli powder - ½ tbsp.
Soda - a pinch
Thymol seeds - ½ tbsp.
Rice flour - 1 tbsp.
Garam masala powder - ¼ tbsp.
Oil - to deep fry
