My God! What a wonderful performance! Forgive me my ignorance, I am from Belarus, it is very far from the Philippines, and I heard this song only performed by Regine Velasquez and Katrina Velarde. It was clear (by age) that the original singer was most likely Regine. And it was thanks to the reactions to her performance that I learned that for the first time this wonderful song was sung by a completely different person. And how he sang! With Regine, I always felt some kind of tension (although I will probably be corrected that this is her interpretation of the song), with Regine, I have never felt such lightness and closeness to the listener as you, dear Nonoy Zuniga. In your performance, this song becomes so simple that I can afford to sing it without knowing the words and not understanding the lyrics, because your emotions are close and understandable to me. Thank you very much from a music lover from the distant city of Mogilev!

One of my favorite OPM songs.. I knew Regine wasn't the original and I knew it was sung by a guy, I just couldn't remember who. Today I'm glad to know it was Nonoy who originally sang it. It was an accident actually, while I was searching YT for the song, I saw an old video from Ryan Ryan Musikahan where Isay Alvarez sang with Ryan accompanying her on the Piano, and the title is ARAW-GABI (Nonoy Zuniga Cover) 😃 Isay sang it like Nonoy did, light and happy.
