I felt the same way for the first few kills but once everything started to come together my rating on the boss went from a 4/10 to at least a 6.5/10 Araxxor is a good stepping stone towards harder pvm

Great video. I think there is some merit in destroying the white egg completely on a red egg start.. you'll force spawn second red spider and thats 80 more damage on the boss at the cost of 1 auto on the 1hp egg (maybe ham joint for this).

you get a death charge off too. This is tech, although I dont think it hatches fast enough to get a WR but would make average kills that are slow enough for it to spawn a bit faster good spot bro

You can actually pop the mirror with ham joint. Max hit is high enough where it dies from the reflected damage. Been doing a similar lure that pecanbread11 posted, and this method feels great. Seems like something like this will be the eventual meta, but curious what bis spec will be settled on. I was calcing claws as a bit better than vw based on expected hit, but ttk difference after a maul hit seemed to push more consistent kill times compared to potential for pbs with claws.

I dont have a ham joint but I could use a goblin paint cannon, they are a few coins from draynor market, not sure why I didnt think of that lol.

​@@redeyejedi8615 I didn't even think about the paint cannon, but it's funny that it may have an actual use on a high level monster. It should work just the same, assuming there's so weird interaction with kicking vs a weapon crush style. Also saw some people talking about dinhs speccing the boss to drop the mirror's hp low enough to finish on the next scythe swing. Haven't tested it quite yet, but curious if not missing a hit on the boss outweighs not just oneshotting the mirror. Popping with a 3t weapon may just be better though.

@@redeyejedi8615 Figured the dinhs was iffy, but was hoping to be able to use it a bit more. Just sits in the bank with one of the best orn kits in the game until I get a burst task sadly. Also, is the timing for your walk at the start based on yhe 4t weapon first hit? Or could it be done if scything or maul spec first hit?

@Inscipio it was based on both 4t or 5t weapon starts. The tiles start to not work when elder speccing first. It's not too bad though, just a couple different tiles to walk at the start, also the goblin paint cannon doenst work :(

I'm not certain on which special attack is best as I haven't done any calcs at the moment, I have been using the VW which seems fine + I cant use any alts as an ironman anyway

gamechanging guide! is there a reason that you use elder maul on the white crab instead of heavy ballista just curiously?

I actually use an inquisitors mace now as that is 2 ticks faster. the reason for not using a ballista is because it requires 2 invent spaces, ballista + range pot whereas the mace is just 1 item so it saves an invent spot assuming you were already using veng on the boss

Is vw best DPS? Felt like normal claws was hitting better. Do you leave and heal/spec every kill too?

I have no idea if voidwaker is the best DPS, I haven't tested any other special attack weapons or done any calcs but give it another day or so and im sure calcs and confirmation will be out there. I also do not leave to heal and regain spec after every kill and try to stay in trips as long as I can although when recording the guide I teleported out and reset to get the correct rotations

I have not used vengeance much, do I have to use it just before attacking the mirror spider but before araxxor attacks me? I've tried it a few times now and not working right.

what you are saying is right yes. also, if Araxxor is attacking you at the same time as you attack the mirrorback you can cast vengeance 1 tick later. Araxxors attack will always land on you first in the case you're both hitting at the same time so you delay your veng in that case. alternatively some people find it easier to use a 1 way heavy ballista with a range pot as when using range or mage you don't need veng. veng is only required when killing it in melee distance (:
