Thanks for the review. Most of the videos are installations with no long term updates. I’m thinking about the twin and like you mentioned it’s quite expensive. 120 is the normal summer day for me so I’m glad you mentioned that.

You are very welcome. I’m glad you found the video useful. I try to stay away from the typical review videos. I find it hard to review something without some time spent handling it. Real world kind use. If you can afford the twin and fit it. Than go for it. More air is never a bad thing, but the single does great if you only goal is to run lockers or air up tires. The twin is very hard to fit in a Jeep Tj and I don’t like running air compressors inside the cabin, It’s just a personal preference of mine.

I had the Viair system wIth a tank mounted under the tub on my TJ build. I had air connectors on the front and rear bumpers and I never had an issue filling tires. For the LJ build I went to a Powertank system mounted to the roll bar. I liked the fact it was portable and there were times I needed to carry it down to a rig that had blown a bead or needed air. For the JK build I’m not sure which way I’m going to go yet. I’m leaning toward the ARB dual compressor with an air tank like I had in the TJ. I could do the Powertank and ARB and have redundancy but that’s probably overkill for the wheeling I’ll be doing out here.

Run my ARB in the same location as you. I’ve never had an issue with engine heat. Love the pump.

Glad to hear it! I live in an area where the summers can hit 120 pretty easily. So, heat wise, I think I've tested it. I love the pump too!

Good review Mark . I just use a cheep air compressor and have for about 7 years now. I works great but it gets really hot and its been slowing down I've noticed. I am going to be purchasing a ARB here in the near future to replace it . Take care sir and catch you on your next video.

I know a few that run cheap compressors without problems as well. But that said, this little ARB unit is very good considering its size. Glad you enjoyed the review! Hope to see your comment in the next video!

I have the same pump mounted in the same spot on my TJ here in Arizona. I've had it for 5-6 yrs and it runs my lockers. Never had a problem but they do get hot. It seems slow for my 35's and I have Co2 tank I could use, but I use the ARB most of the time.

Sounds like we have a similar experience. I would agree that it is a tad slow for 35s. I felt the same way when I was running 35s on my rig. Co2 is nice for a lot of reasons. I still prefer an air pump for my needs though.

In the southwest, they won't hold up as long as your's has due to the extreme heat and dust that is has to endure every weekend. Maybe 3 years life expectancy.

I live in extreme heat and dust being near Death Valley. It is pretty common to see heat at the 120 mark in the summer. Mine has held up fine so far!
