Well, give the Romanus legion some credit; they managed to bring down everything short of a double duo of Dragons and Ogre Lords, and even then, they lost by a fairly narrow margin considering that they were up against four super-units with devastating AoE ranged attacks. If they'd been smart enough not to waste most of their javelins on the Dragons, they might've even won. It's a pity you didn't try full Fantasy and full Infernal squads though. It'd be interesting to see which group gets further against the Romanus as a team.
