Got me thinking. Subaru at this point is very strong, just makes it seem like he isn't going to suffer like he usually does. Even against pandora or capella he won't be as agonised as he was in arc 4 and the arcs prior to it. This is blatantly shown in arc 5 where he didn't suffer much at all, especially compared to all the arcs preceding it. Even now the only way he has suffered is when he was "memory wiped" but even then, when he gained those memories he brushed it off. He has nearly mastered RbD (i.e everyone has nearly blind trust in him all but rendering RbD's only real restriction redundant. And the trust,love and support he receives keep him from shying away from death despite still treating it as an option albeit more to the last resort kind. Death really doesn't affect him all too much when he knows its what he has to do to overcome whatever hurdle comes his loved ones way), adding onto that he also now has cor leonis and unless something unforseen happens like "destroying the tower kills shaula" or "wipes her memories" he is most likely going to gain shaula as an ally. So all this got me thinking about what sirius said about petelgeuse, about how he's still in subaru somewhere. What if when subaru gains the authority of gluttony, it allows petelgeuse to mess around with his psyche. Could you imagine? Subaru suddenly losing control and unseen hands during a critical moment kills amelia or rips beatrice apart. Or maybe him blacking out and waking up to the complete slaughter of loved ones, with one or two barely breathing just long enough for him to see the confusion and disbelief in their eyes just before dying. This would definitely shake him up and make him suffer. There's even a chance of petelgeuse completely taking over permanently, and so the the fear of true death rears its head. Who better to help petelgeuse than pandora. In order for this suffering to commence tho, i have realised several conditions have to be fulfilled first. First and foremost, this has to happen somewhere the witch of envy can't reach with her avatar. Second, subaru has to not notice petelgeuse's presence before reaching said area. And third, subaru has to actually have the gluttony witch factor and it has to retain the eclipse ability even if in a nerfed state. Which i think will be a problem since i can't think of how subaru is in anyway gluttonous(besides being a glutton for love and affection from Amelia,Rem and Beatrice that is).

I would say that the Gluttony Witch Factor is a bit of an odd one, an outlier if you will. Most of the beasts and some users related to the Gluttony Authority have shown an ability to 'Split', with the Rabbit Horde having no limit on their continuous multiplication (Besides the Number Cap and Resources involved in creating them), and the White Whale's Double body clones. Ram Killing Lye would probably return the Witch Factor to the other two possessors of the Authority, like how Petelguese's Sloth Finger 'Clones' (Not really clones but spare bodies (Extra lives lol)) would return their portion of the authority to him when they died. I surmise that if the Factor goes to another Gluttony Holder, then it would be Louis, as the three siblings seem to be connected to each other in a similar way to the White Whale Clones, with one above and 2 below. Subaru will probably have to kill all three of them to get their factor. On a side note, each of the authorities seem connected to an individual "Body part", but it's a bit vague. Like how Sloth is 'Hands', Greed is 'Heart', and Gluttony is 'Mouth', but I'm at a loss for the rest of them, especially Wrath. Maybe Lust is "Surface Body(Skin)?"
