What sort of temp. did this take place in? Did you feel humid / damp at any point?

Not really. It was like mid-70s to low-80s the whole day, and I don’t remember getting damp outside of the water. I remember I had a polyester base layer underneath that was perfectly dry, but the wind might’ve helped to keep me cool, also.

I was looking at getting this coat and pants . Hoping it will be able to compact down for backpacking as I just returned the outdoor helium pants and jacket super compact and light just not very good for Washington type rain.

Hood is way too wide. Needed to be cinched down with a ball cap underneath it.

I know, I literally forgot about that particular aspect. I had to hold my hood forward as a result the whole time.
