The down compartment isn't for wet stuff it is for a sleeping bag and blow up mattress. and the small gaps or holes on the sides of the separator are there so you'll be able to put your tent poles all the way into the beg. pretty basic stuff but let's not be petty =]

Great review. I was looking on Arc's website but there are only 80 and 95 liter models and not in this color, whic I really like. Does that mean that this model is EOL?

Side zip is sweeet! like heavy ballistic nylon or cordura for shape retention though thin nylon gets UV damage even if "resistant".

Get the usmc ILBE bag. It's almost the exact same thing. You can get it for less than $100, if you don't mind camo patterns.

i lie everything about this bag. I think that the first compartment you unzipped is probably for a sleeping bag. Is there a place for a bladder?

i found this very usefull, i am currently working on a zombie book (yes zombies, i am a guy) and im trying to find a good backpack for my character who travles alot and he carries a lot of equipment with him. guns, ammo, some grenades, and electronics, so i need him not to be hindered.
